Alumni Participate in Women's History Month Panel
On Wednesday, March 23 prominent women in the San Antonio community gathered at the University of the Incarnate Word for a conversation on women's leadership and empowerment. Women in Leaders - a panel discussion, hosted by the University’s Office of Career Services, served as an opportunity for young women to learn about the different journeys and challenges the panelists encountered throughout their professional careers.
Among the four panelists in attendance, both Ada Saenz ‘03, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio, and Alejandra Tamayo ‘20, senior influencer marketing executive at Quantum Public Relations, are proud graduates of UIW. The panel was moderated by Joseph Topinka, healthcare administration adjunct professor and author of Just Judy: A Citizen and Leader for Illinois. The panel discussion culminated with a brief Q&A session follwed by a networking opportunity where students had the chance to meet the panelists.
